Picea Pungens Glauca (Blue Spruce)- The blue spruce is widely used as a Christmas tree due to its conical habit and dense horizontal branches which are covered with grey-green needles. It also has a high needle retention rate. One of the most ornamental of the conifers the blue spruce makes a great specimen tree in parklands and garden situations. Commonly grows up to 15meters.
Cones: The cones are up to 10cm in length and are a pale brown colour.
Timber: Best used as a windbreak or ornamental feature as well as for Christmas tree production.
Soil Types/Habitat: A very hardy tree which is able to withstand very cold winters. Grows best in wet but free-draining soil in full sunlight.

Our plants, due to their size, are typically dispatched via pallet deliveries. This method can take 2-4 working days, or you can opt for our next-day pallet delivery service for an additional fee.
For areas within the East Midlands, a full pallet delivery cost will start from ?0, while for areas such as London, the costs will be around ?0-80; for areas in Scotland, the delivery cost can be up to ?00 per pallet. A dedicated van can be arranged for specific items bigger than pallet size, please contact us for a quote.
